I just finished watching your crew remove three large Blue Spruce trees from my property and I felt the need to write and thank you and your crew for doing an outstanding job from cutting them down to the most immaculate clean up I have ever seen. One of the important steps was to place the planks down before driving on the lawn.

This prevented the heavy trucks from leaving indents! Not many companies would take the extra time to do that. We felt the money was well worth it and wish more companies took such pride in their work. Do you do house cleaning and windows? HA! HA!

Richard, Billerica MA 01821. Tree Service. Twenty trees, about 38 years old, were removed, four in excess of 40 feet tall, the rest 25-30 feet tall. In addition, a 50 foot tree was trimmed using a boom truck and 19 stumps were ground down below grade. The entire experience was wonderful. A four man crew arrived early in the morning with a 150 foot crane, a 75 foot boom truck and a monster truck-pulled chipper. All of the trees were removed with the aid of the crane. One went over the house about 100 feet in the air. The cutting and carting away process took only four hours. One man returned the following week and ground down the stumps in the rain, without a complaint. The crew was friendly and efficient and cleaned up the work site when done.

Manami in LEXINGTON, MA, Removing some trees and grinding stumps. We had ~18 trees removed, about 6-9 stumps ground and some of the hard wood (from two huge oaks and a maple) cut into rounds for fire wood. Peter was very professional and gave good advice (as well as he was the only person who came out who actually knew what some of the trees were). Although their price was not the lowest (it was certainly not the highest either), we decided to go with them. They performed all the tree felling on one day and came back after about a week to grind the stumps. They warned us when we might lose plants, and advised us to move other plants that were close to trees to be felled. Some of the logs we wanted for fire wood were not fully cut through, but after a call to Peter, they came the next day to finish them off. Great job.

Michael SUDBURY MA , took down 4 maples, 5 ash, and 1 apple tree. Also took down a few smaller dead trees. The stumps were ground for 1 maple, 1 apple & 3 of the other stumps. Peter came out and gave me an estimate. Due to weather (January) the work was delayed for a few weeks which was not a problem. The crew arrived with a crane and large chipper. They completed the work in less than a day and cleaned up when finished.

STEVEN LEXINGTON, MA, 02420, Tree Service. We had Marquis remove a ton of dead branches from our trees and secure an old large tree with guy wire. Our trees are very old all the work was a few stories up. It had been quite a few years since our trees were pruned and we had a lot of dead wood that was threatening to come down. John came promptly to give us a quote. He spent a lot of time explaining what needed to be done. I found him to be very professional, yet personable at the same time. We were having a family medical crisis at the time and he was very willing to work with us to accommodate our schedule. The work was done in a timely matter and there were no surprises. The clean up was perfect. I will definitely recommend him to my friends and use him again.

Gaddy BELMONT MA 02478,Tree Service. They cut a huge tree that was too close to our chimney, took out completely another tree that was blocking sunlight to the office and trimmed a bunch of others. It was very professional, just what we wanted. They were easy to reach by phone, punctual on both visits (the estimate and the work itself) did the work well, and cleaned well after. The price seemed reasonable to us. We will sure use them for the next time we need tree services.

Holly LEXINGTON MA 02420, Tree Service. Removed 80' sugar maple, dying dogwood tree, dying apple tree, yews, large privet and hydrangea shrubs. Pruned neighbors Norway maples that were severely overhanging our garage roof and stump grinding. Marquis was amazing. The sugar maple was huge and damaging our deck and roof. We live on a small street of closely spaced homes. They brought a crew with a crane and took the tree in pieces up and over my house. It was incredible to watch. They were fast, efficient and cleaned up very nicely after the work was completed. I couldn't be happier.

Barb TEWKSBURY MA, 01876. Peter's crew took down 4 very large oaks, 3 tall pines, and cleared the deadwood off a number of other tall trees. The stumps were ground for the 4 oaks, and they also downed/cleared some leaning trees that were troublesome. The crew had to come on two different occasions due to the weather, but they did finish the job and were very friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and I am very happy w/ the work done. The guy who ground the stumps blew off the deck and drive after he was done, cleaning not just the wood shavings, but other debris. Peter also honored the Angie's list discount AFTER giving the initial estimate, which in my opinion proves the honesty of the company. Communications were very good given that work had to be halted due to thunder storms and we had to arrange for them to come back. The guys helped put the section of fence back in place temporarily until we were able to repair it permanently. I was also very happy that Peter was able to keep the trucks off the front lawn to avoid damaging the front grass/landscaping. This meant they had to climb to take the trees down out front, but they did it relatively quickly (and were entertainment for the neighborhood to boot!). I highly recommend Marquis Tree service for their quality, pricing, friendliness, and communications.
